About Okimat Artworks
Canada's Official Distributor of Pal Tiya Premium Cement Sculpting Clay

Founded by Zach Spicer in South Surrey, BC, Okimat Artworks is proud to be the official Canadian distributor of Pal Tiya Premium — the world-renowned, weatherproof sculpting medium used by artists, film studios, and public art installations across the globe.
Zach’s vision for Okimat Artworks is simple: to bring high-quality, professional-grade sculpting materials to Canadian artists, makers, educators, and studios who want to create durable, long-lasting art without the need for a kiln.
Tamiko Spicer — Artist in Residence

Tamiko Spicer is a BC-based sculptor whose large-scale outdoor work demonstrates what Pal Tiya Premium is truly capable of. From lifesize wolves and dragons to giant Pacific octopuses and public art installations, Tamiko’s sculptures are built to live outdoors — permanently.
Every piece is sculpted entirely by hand using Pal Tiya Premium cement sculpting clay. No moulds, no kiln, no shortcuts. Just material, tools, and vision.
Her work has been commissioned for private collections, public spaces, and community installations across Canada and internationally — including pieces that now reside in Japan.
Tamiko’s sculptures are proof of what this material can do. If you’ve ever wondered whether Pal Tiya Premium can handle a lifesize animal, a 12-foot figure, or a complex water feature — the answer is yes.

Why Pal Tiya Premium
Most sculpting materials force a compromise. Traditional clay requires a kiln and can’t survive outdoors. Concrete is durable but nearly impossible to sculpt with detail. Pal Tiya Premium was designed to solve both problems.
- Sculpts like clay — responsive, workable, and forgiving
- No kiln required — cures naturally at room temperature
- Weatherproof and freeze-thaw resistant — built for Canadian winters
- Permanent outdoor durability — designed for sculptures that last decades
- Used by professionals worldwide — sculptors, theme parks, and film productions
It’s the material Tamiko trusts for every commission. It’s the material we stand behind as Canada’s official distributor.
